Edit SVG Files Online
Recolour paths, erase parts and reshape vector artwork in your browser. Upload a PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC or almost any other image and it is sent to a vectorizing service and traced to SVG first, so anything can be edited.

Drop an SVG, PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, HEIC or camera RAW file here, or click Upload to choose one. A raster image is read on your machine, shrunk to fit and uploaded for tracing first, which can take a little while. The editor then opens in a new tab with your artwork loaded.
How to edit an SVG online
Bring in any image, get a vector you can actually take apart, and edit it path by path.

Upload artwork
Drag an SVG onto the stage above and it opens as-is, nothing leaves your machine. Upload a PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, HEIC or a Nikon, Canon or Sony RAW file (TIFF in Safari) and it is read in your browser, then sent to a vectorizing service and traced first so there are paths to work with. Files up to 40 MB are accepted; a picture over 4096 px a side, 16 megapixels or 4 MB is scaled down and re-encoded before it is sent, and an image whose shorter side is 256 px or less is too small and is refused with a message.

The editor opens in a new tab
Your artwork loads into the full editing surface. Allow pop-ups for this site if the new tab does not appear.

Recolour, erase and reshape
Fill individual paths, delete the ones you do not want, reduce the colour count, or erase regions — then export the finished SVG.
Every path is yours to change
Once artwork is vector you are not stuck with the picture you were given: recolour one shape, drop another, and reduce a busy palette down to the colours you actually want.

Questions about the SVG editor
How files get in, what you can change, and where it opens.
Can I edit a PNG or JPG here?
- Yes, indirectly. A raster file is traced to SVG first and you then edit the traced paths. The closer your image is to flat shapes, the cleaner the paths you get to work with. Transparent areas are sent as they are.
Does my file get uploaded anywhere?
- An SVG does not — it opens straight into the editor from your machine. A raster image is read in your browser first (a HEIC or RAW is decoded there, a large picture is shrunk there), then uploaded to our server and passed to a third-party vectorizing service (Recraft, via fal.ai) for the trace; the upload expires on their side after ten minutes, the traced result is held by that service for a period we do not control, and we keep no copy of either. If the service declines the image or is unavailable you are told why, and nothing is traced in your browser instead. Do not upload raster images you are not willing to send to a third party.
Why does the editor open in a new tab?
- The editor is a separate full-screen workspace, so your artwork is handed to it in a new tab and this page stays as it is. If nothing opens, your browser blocked the pop-up — allow pop-ups for this site and upload again.
What can I actually change?
- You can fill and recolour individual paths, delete paths, erase areas, and reduce the number of colours in the artwork, then export the result as an SVG.
